Siblings Patrick and Brittany Williams have been given the opportunity to run in the 118th Boston Marathon on April 21st, 2014. Both Patrick and Brittany were directly affected by the events surrounding the marathon last year. Brittany was running for Team Mass Eye and Ear and was stopped at mile 25.8. On April 15, 2014, Patrick and Brittany attended the marathon tribute event on Boylston Street at the sight of last year’s bombings.
